From the family’s web site, as well as the billboard on the side of the road, Kent Jacobs went missing March 10, 2002 near the Colonial Heights area of Hope Mills, NC. There’s much more information on the family’s site.

The Fayetteville Observer’s online archives on the case reveal that the police are investigating this as a possible homicide, but since initial interest in the case has waned, it’s difficult for them to gain any ground on this one.
